I have learned so much more about one of my favorite subjects mystery a very fun and interesting subject that probably everyone enjoys. Blogging actually helped me express my feelings better. Over the weeks of blogging i have worked harder then i have in a while I'm glad that we had this project

The History of Mystery

Mysteries have been around forever, ever since the human mind could think people have been wondering. Where does the sun go at night, or where do babies come from and just like that a mystery is born. Even the history is a mystery You'll never know what was first debated about and thought about. The mystery with the oldest origins the beginning how did we come to be how did the universe come to be what power could have created such a vast endless black place. What is the black depths of the universe. we might never know. Mysteries evolved over the years some being proven true others false. From silly little wives tales to growing nations full of conspiracies. no matter what the future of mysteries where ever direction its headed it will continue to capture the minds of the whole world. the whole universe forever.

Fantasy

Fantasy a world beyond ours its no mystery all false, but a world everybody would rather live in. Mystical creatures places grand adventures to be had. Fantasy is your imagination to its fullest extent day dreaming your passage in to that world.
Fantasy everyone has there own world with in there thoughts which I thought was mysterious. your own adventure with a little imagination.
My own world to do what ever i want to travel and adventure in a land with enchanting forests everlasting mountains vile caves dark forests medieval towns swamps mystical beasts. All contents of my own world where I am king a traveling warrior with magic at my disposal slaying beasts minotaurs centaurs evil creatures. In my boredom i have day dreamed all of this and so has everyone one at some point in time. Which is a mystery to see what everyone else's escape from reality. its fascinating to me at least the abilities of the human mind which is the biggest mystery you will ever come across. A part of your own body that you can't even begin to understand. I would like to know what your mysterious world is tell me in a comment.

Atlantis

Atlantis

A city long ago far advanced for its time destroyed or disappeared. Dating back to about 9,000 years ago long before the ancient Egyptians with technology close to our own. In almost every ancient religion it is written of some city with technology far greater then our own. A city destroyed by something natural, or just vanished. Pretty much proven wrong people still have gathered evidence helping prove the existence of Atlantis.
Dr. Ray Brown and 4 other divers found a sunken pyramid of the coast of the Bahamas along with a few rectangular shaped houses, roads, and a state holding a crystal which they say had the power to redirect energy. A huge 11 room pyramid found 10,000 feet underwater with a huge crystal top. A sunken city found 400 miles off the coast of Portugal with strong concrete buildings with plastics. Roads and monorails for transportation and a statue.
The crystal skulls also from Atlantean myth used for such great power but over used. The myth says that since they over used the power of the crystals they were punished by the gods and their city destroyed. Many legends arose from this city but was it actually real, was there a city with such power but so easily destroyed. The world may never know of the legend of Atlantis

The Bermuda Triangle

A triangle stretching from an island Bermuda to Florida closing off at Puerto Rico. Some things have happened there that I would say is pretty unexplainable. Air crafts and ships have gone in and disappeared forever. Many people have made theories of what goes on in this mysterious triangle.
Supernatural explanations used to attempt to explain whats going on. Some say that technology from the lost city Atlantis messes with the equipment on the air crafts and ships causing them to get lost and somehow never return. Others go off UFO's and how they abducted anything to enter the triangle.
There are natural causes to explain what happened, which are much more reasonable. Rogue waves, hurricanes, and human error. Rogue waves are randomly occurring massive waves that could easily take out a ship but not an air plane. Hurricanes massive storms that would take out a ship and an air plane. Human error someone's faults bringing them to there watery graves. Although more reasonable and probably what actually happened, but whats the fun in that.

Extraterrestrials

Extraterrestrials better known as aliens. There is so much for me to write about but unfortunately I can only dip into a few subjects such as, sightings of UFO's, ghastly encounters with aliens themselves, and legends of aliens in the past. Aliens means of transportation UFO's. Over the years people have sworn they saw something otherworldly fly at incredible speeds across the sky. Just about everyone has heard about the alleged UFO crash site at Roswell, New Mexico. Of course area 51 as well that's what I will be talking about today due to there infamy. Some 50 years ago something happened that would change the minds of thousands maybe even millions of the thought that we aren't alone. Roswell, New Mexico the year was 1947 army officials had recovered parts of alien aircraft, At least that's what conspiracy theorists say. A cover up possibly but the information publicly released said that it was just an government experiment for a new aircraft they were testing. Now i ask you what you believe true or a failed government experiment.
Area 51 words that have been on everyone's tongue at one point or another. The United States army base where they supposedly keep all the evidence of aliens. Now no one knows where this base is or its contents, so this one is a huge mystery. I'll tell you all i know about it, a base kept secret by the government containing a secret larger then life. Existence of life on other planets is their secret and there evidence, deceased aliens, crashed spaceships, unexplainable gadgets and dastardly inventions. I personally don't believe I think by now they would have figured out there technology reverse engineering and putting it back together again and again. If you think otherwise explain your theory in a comment and it will be debated.

Ghosts

This mystery was a mystery made to write about. Probably one of the biggest mysteries in the world ghosts . Debated about for years on end the existence of humans no longer living still roaming this planet.I'll start this off with famous ghostly encounters. The Gurdon lights a small town in the depths of Arkansas. A big mystery behind a small town go figure. In Gurdon there have been many accounts of seeing a ghostly light at the end of abandoned train tracks. The first account, some college students decided they would go to a haunted place they read about in a friends book. They made there way down to Gurdon and pulled over at a gas station and asked the stores clerk directions to the lights, she casually replies go back 2 miles to the train tracks you can't miss it. they arrived at the alleged haunted location found nothing. as they decided to leave they saw a flickering light far down the tracks. They were terrified as the orb like entity flew toward them. They ran as fast as possible out of there never to return.
Now I thought this story was kind of original at least I haven't heard anything like this before, but anyways the story behind is an old man who worked on the tracks. Working late at night he heard a noise a train he knew that there weren't any scheduled that time went to check it out. Holding his lantern turned to get hit by a train a grim and sad end to his life.
Ghosts a topic you can never stop writing about. Endless stories and chilling tales it will be puzzling me for many years to come.

Urban Legends

Urban legends always have people talking, people think of them as silly little wives tales created in someones endless boredom. Surprising enough some of them have a little bit of truth in them, and now I have gathered a list of some that haven't been proven wrong at least not yet.
While searching around on the computer i came across this little tale of a dastardly thief going against unbeatable odds to just show his skill.A man who had just recently restored a beautiful baby blue corvette decided there wasn't a chance he would allow it to get stolen.So he took some precautions to prevent the inevitable.He locked all the doors covered it in a tarp wrapped it with chains and locked his garage.He thought it was fool proof until the next morning.He woke up to find his car still there but turned around and a note left on the windshield saying "If we want it we can take it." The man mortified of course but that was the end of that story.My first thoughts were what thief would go through all that trouble for no reward.Any smart thief would have taken off with the car as fast as possible.
This next story is a short one of a lawyer showing how brave he was by hurling himself at a window of a skyscraper.Trying to show off to all his fellow employees. He asked for assistance in thinking of a way to show how brave he was when some one told him to hurl himself at the windows. He accepted the challenge got a running start and smashed into the glass.To everyone's surprise he had gone flying out to his death.I didn't believe this one at all and since a popular TV show the Mythbusters have already proved it wrong.

mystery #1 who I am

We will start this off with my introduction. I am Reid Morrison life long follower of mysteries,urban legends,and myths. All the exciting unexplainable events and happenings in history. All the accused conspiracy and the unbelievable truths of this world. I would always attempt to play as detective when I hear of a new mystery. Trying to prove that it was all fake, but I am here to show you the ones i couldn't prove wrong the ones that may have some truth in them. Now I need your help to attempt to disprove these events, if not are they real?
